Flat Top Stuffed French Toast on a Griddle Grill

A flat top breakfast recipe favorite! Delight in the perfect blend of French toast and cheesecake flavors with our Griddled Stuffed French Toast recipe for breakfast or brunch! Learn how to griddle golden slices of French toast stuffed with creamy fillings and topped with your favorite fruits, all made on the Coleman® 36" Griddle Grill Station.

 Ingredients

  • Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Tsp. almond extract OR 1 Tsp. Amaretto liqueur (for adults)
  • 8 Slices of brioche bread (or Challah bread)
  • 8 Oz. whipped cream cheese (or softened cream cheese or mascarpone cheese)
  • 8 Oz. orange marmalade (or any jelly or jam you like)
  • Ground cinnamon, pinch
  • Powdered sugar
  • Strawberries
  • Maple Syrup

Coleman® 36" Griddle Grill Station

Directions

Set your Coleman Griddle to Low heat.

  1. Whisk together all of the batter ingredients and set aside.
  2. Dip one side of the bread in the batter.
  3. Rub butter on the Coleman griddle and place the battered side of the bread on the griddle.
  4. Spread cream cheese to the crust of 4 slices of bread, repeat with the orange marmalade on the other 4 slices.
  5. Low to medium temperature until the cream cheese and the marmalade are warm.
  6. Combine the cream cheese and marmalade bread together making a sandwich.
  7. Cut into triangles and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
